Book Early
2026 is already looking like a busy travel year. Boutique hotels, museums, and restaurants in top cities will book up faster than you might think and prices rise fast.
In expensive cities, we personally like to save our points and book Hyatt with Chase Sapphire Ultimate Rewards points and free night certificates. And if you’re taking Amtrak, unless there’re a sale, ticket prices tend to skyrocket the closer you get to your travel dates.

Our Take
The US East Coast has something for every kind of traveler in 2026, whether you want art and history, fresh seafood by the ocean, or late nights filled with music. Add in easy access between cities and you’ve got one of the best regions in the country to explore.
