Travel is obviously our obsession, so it’s no surprise that we also love exploring the world on YouTube from our couch at home.
Sometimes we’re doing specific research to plan a trip, but there are a few creators we tune into weekly just for fun. These are the channels we keep coming back to for inspiration, helpful tips, and just to follow their adventures.
If you’re looking for new travel content to binge, here are 16 of our favorites and links to their channels.

1. The Endless Adventure
Eric and Allison are super easy to watch. They’re curious, funny, and down-to-earth. We love how they mix food, local culture, and unique adventures with a bit of quirkiness and just the right touch of innuendo. They’re honest about the ups and downs of travel, and we find that refreshing. They mix it up with domestic van life, international travel, and lately they’ve been building a home (literally) in Texas.
2. Detour Duo
We found these two recently (thanks to Daily Drop) and love their calm, thoughtful style. They focus on budget travel and give a realistic look at life on the road, plus tips for what to eat, where to stay, and what excursions to take. We especially loved seeing their recent slow-travel to Mexico with their cat and enjoyed their experience learning Spanish.
3. The Wonton Don
Donnie’s videos are a mix of travel, chaos, and comedy. He dives into some unhinged local experiences and always seems to find the unexpected. Theo found him through Barstool (which can be a bit cringe for me sometimes), but he was totally right that I would love the channel. Despite all the shenanigans, Donnie is a true journalist with a kind personality and an interesting perspective on his travel experience. And, yeah, I like the chaos.
4. Mike Okay
Mike takes you to places most of us will probably never go: Afghanistan, Iran, rural China, and beyond. There are a lot of “extreme travelers” out there, but Mike stands out as a kindred spirit and seems genuinely interested in the stories of the people he meets. He usually travels solo and shares reflective stories while hitchhiking across mountain ranges, camping in odd places, and drinking moonshine with locals while communicating through Google Translate.
5. Dabble and Travel
This UK couple has great energy and regularly travels to places that aren’t on most western travelers radar. We first found them a few years ago while researching a trip to Lebanon (that sadly didn’t happen), and we kept watching through their recent travels in Russia. They do a nice mix of budget and mid-range travel, with an interesting perspective and respect for everyone they meet. They keep it lighthearted like many of the other travel couples, but they keep it super interesting by traveling off the beaten path.
6. More Best Ever Food Review Show
This is the b channel for Best Ever Food Review Show — and we like it a bit better than the main channel. It’s more raw and less produced while still showcasing great food, fun personalities, and local stories. For us, in both the main channel and this secondary one, Sonny fills a void left by the loss of Anthony Bourdain — though he brings a more comedic flair. These two channels offer high quality productions that are better than many shows on mainstream food and travel networks.
7. Drew Binsky
Drew has been to every country in the world, and his content mixes quick facts, deep dives, local stories, and personal connection through everywhere he’s traveled. He’s great at showing the human side of travel and breaking down stereotypes while also being a bit extreme. He has several YouTube channels, and we particularly like when he shows what $10 will get you in a location, it’s a fast-paced look at cultures around the world.
8. Kara and Nate
If you follow any travel vloggers, you probably know Kara and Nate. They started as backpackers and now do everything from van life to luxury hotels to extreme adventures. They’ve built a travel empire in recent years (we read Daily Drop every morning), but they still manage to keep their content fun and approachable. We loved their recent experience helping to build a bridge during an annual festival in Peru — and we’ll never forget when they swam with orcas.
9. Wolters World
Mark gives practical advice on what to expect in different countries around the world, and we’ve used a ton of his tips over the years. He is the godfather of “Loves and Hates” videos, which are especially helpful. We also love when his wife Jocelyn joins, and when they share bits of their family travel life with their two boys who have grown up on the channel over the many years of its success.
10. Oskar and Dan
These two have great energy and a fun, informative style. They often travel to lesser-known spots and share a lot from an LGBTQ+ perspective, which is important for international travel. Also, Dan’s “Nonstop Dan” aviation channel is one of our favorites for honest airline reviews and travel hacks. We’ve made really informed decisions and saved a ton of money following his advice.
11. Les Frenchies
Theo and I are accidental francophiles. How did that happen? Paris is the easiest, cheapest place for us to get to in Europe. So we’ve spent a few nights here and a few nights there for years. We absolutely fell in love. And how could you not? Paris is gorgeous but it takes a little knowledge and understanding to get the rhythm of the city and the culture. Once you do, you’ll fall in love too. And of course, there’s much more to France than just Paris. Les Frenchies will help you learn everything you need to know about culture, sightseeing, dining, and more.
12. Safiya Nygaard
Okay, this is not always a travel channel — but we love her travel content when she does post it. Safiya has an amazing voice and brings such a fun, creative twist to wherever she goes. We also love that her husband, Tyler, is from Philly, and adds some great seasoning to the content. In our favorite recent video they rated Wawa, Sheetz, and Buckeyes. That’s a great road-trip video with a lot of PA flare. In another video they explored all the crazy activities available at the Singapore airport — which we hope to do soon, too.
13. Delightful Travellers
Anna and Trevor are a Canadian couple who’ve been traveling full-time for years, and their channel lives up to its name. Their videos are relaxed, informative, and feel like your friends are taking you around a new destination — whether they’re exploring Europe, sampling local food in Asia, or showing us around the Dominican Republic, where they live part of the year (and just bought a condo). They keep things on a budget, share what they paid, and give honest reviews. We’ve been exploring more of DR recently, so we’ve added a few spots to our wishlist from these videos.
14. Jeb Brooks
If you’re into trains, planes, airports, or anything aviation-related, Jeb is a must-follow. He’s quirky, but lots of fun to watch, especially since his wife, Suzanne, joined him in front of the camera in recent years. The camera work is top-notch and they both have a genuine enthusiasm for all things flying, whether it’s a budget airline review or a first-class suite. His trip reports are detailed, balanced, and help us plan our travel.
15. Top Jaw
Top Jaw is a great channel for food-focused city guides. Jesse and Will are adorable and pack a lot into short videos, which usually feature 48-hour itineraries with stops for coffee, cocktails, and great meals. The pacing is quick, the filming is sharp, and the recommendations are fantastic. We’ve found some of our favorite spots around the world by following their advice. Their London videos are especially helpful, since that’s their base, but they have plenty of content throughout Europe and even some in the US.
16. The Points Guy (Arrivals and Departures)
We saved these for last but they are some of the best. These two channels are part of the broader Points Guy brand, with one focused on the destinations (Arrivals) and the other on transportation (Departures). I’m obsessed with plane and train seat reviews, whether it’s research for my next adventure or just dreaming about an Emirates first class experience I’ll never have! I first started watching for Nicky’s and Liam’s reviews of all cabins on one flight — and then we duplicated an experience here, which was so much fun: Bougie on a Budget: Can Flying Ryanair Ever Be First Class?
That’s our current list, but we’re always finding new favorites. What are your favorites we should check out? We’d love to hear!
